Richard Dawkins: The Selfish Gene — Post 2

August 24th, 2008

It’s been long overdue, well at least a week or so – because I’ve finished The Selfish Gene, and I need to write about it!

Dawkins hits a home run in the remaining chapters, and successfully enticed me to want to read his self-acclaimed ‘best’ book, “The Extended Phenotype.”

Richard Dawkins: The Selfish Gene — Post 1

July 7th, 2008

So I’ve been reading this book, as I posted before –> The Selfish Gene by Richard Dawkins.  Some may find a lot of his work offensive, but I find that if you can get over that — his words can generally be an eye opener as well as a mind boggler, mostly the latter as it pertains to myself.  Anyways…

My Einstein: Book Review

December 24th, 2007

So I just finished reading My Einstein, and I have to say it was a great read. The book consists of 24 essays by the “World’s Leading Thinkers”, some of which were outstanding, others mediocre, others eh…

Anyways, join me as I share my favorite quotes from the books.
