OK So I think this is a weed, because it’s literally taking over this whole section of mulch, overpowering and choking other plant life below. With that aside, it is the most intricate flower I’ve ever seen in person. I hope you will enjoy it, and maybe we can identify it together.. I have no idea what it is.
When I get a chance I’ll take some higher quality images with my regular camera, these were just quick shots I took with my cell phone.

Bart sent me your post for identification. You have a passion flower (passiflora) – one of the most amazing flowers in existence. They’re climbers, so if you’d like to contain it, you can give it something to climb. They also produce edible fruit after the flowers fade. It’s a keeper.
