I was thinking about the word “palindrome” last night, because when I got in the bed it was 12:21. So I thought, “Ooh, palindrome,” like a nerd. Regardless, shouldn’t the word that defines a word’s order to be irrelevant(read from front->back or back->front) have an irrelevant order itself? Oh well, I wasn’t put in charge of these things.
Palap?
Palinilap?
Palindrordnilap?
Palindromemordnilap?

I had an identical experience on the stool last night…Thinking palindromes, I pondered, “shouldn’t this word illustrate what it is describing?”
And I settled on “palinilap”…”to lap again”…a race reference, ironically…;-)
I shared this with my GF and went to sleep. This morning I decided to see if “palinilap” had been coined yet and googled my “new word”.
It’s in the air.
As the legend goes, the “first man” introduced himself to the “first woman” by palindrome: “Madam I’m Adam”, only to discover that neither of them were “the first”! (my addition to the legend based on experiences like this)
thanks for ratifying my thoughts before I thought them!;-)
